Perge Ancient City
Perge / Perga is an important ancient city of Pamphylia literally meaning “of mingled tribes or races”, once the capital of Pamphylia Secunda. In the region south of Asia Minor, extending from the Mediterranean to the Taurus Mountains, a large site of ancient ruins 15 kilometres east of Antalya.

Aspendos Ruins
Aspendos is known for having the best-preserved theatre of antiquity. With a diameter of 96 meters, it provided seating for 12.000 spectators. It was built in the second century in the time of Roman Emperor Septimus Severus by the native architect Zenon. The Seljuqs Turks, who used it as a caravanserai, converted the stage building into a palace in 13th century.
